I’m Jo — a UESCA-certified Ultra Running Coach with a degree in Kinesiology & Health Science and over 15 years of coaching and personal training experience. My approach blends research-based methods with real-world experience, making running accessible, enjoyable, and sustainable for athletes of all levels.
My own journey started in the gym, where I helped people achieve their fitness goals. Over time, I felt pulled back to my true passion: endurance sports. I laced up, hit the trails, and pushed myself into ultramarathons — learning first-hand what it means to train, adapt, and grow as a runner.
Run with Jo was born from this passion. My mission is simple: to provide inclusive coaching for every runner — whether you’re training for your very first 5K, building confidence on the trails, or chasing an ultra-distance dream.
